Screwing Anna Nicole One Last Time
TV’s Rita Cosby’s making the rounds today pushing her trashy take on Anna Nicole Smith’s life and death. Her book BLONDE AMBITION was released yesterday. And if you heard some explosions off in the distance, it was the bombshells dropping.
Like, you know, droppings.
Here’s a snimp from a press account by Mike Thomas of the Sun Times:
Among the book’s most shocking allegations, Cosby writes (based in part on an account by Smith’s friend Jackie Hatten) that Smith’s partner-lawyer Howard K. Stern and her baby daddy Larry Birkhead were seen — shirts off, pants down — engaged in sex. The book also alleges that after Stern threatened to reveal their gay relationship, the two men reached a deal that would benefit them both following Smith’s death.
In a nutshell, Cosby claims, Stern got control of Smith’s estate while Birkhead got custody of their now 1-year-old daughter Dannielynn — who’s in line to inherit buckets of Benjamins from Smith’s former husband, the late and loaded oilman Howard Marshall.
Not surprisingly, Stern and Birkhead have vigorously disavowed Cosby’s claims. “None of it is true,” Birkhead told the New York Daily News, which claimed Sunday to have obtained an advance copy of the book. “I’m gonna sue Rita Cosby for it.”
Stern’s litigiousness flared, too. Wrote his lawyer in a statement posted on TMZ.com, “If Ms. Cosby’s book contains the statements being reported in the media and on the Internet, she has taken the coverage to a disgusting new low for which she will be held legally accountable.”
Cosby seemed to take it all in stride. “These guys would sue anyone,” she told the TV tabloid show “Inside Edition.” “I felt like I needed to tell the truth.”
But even the media’s getting squirmy. Threatened with legal action if Cosby made any untrue statements on the air, NBC’s “Today” reportedly canceled a interview with her. And OK! magazine nixed the last part of Birkhead’s lucrative arrangement that compensated him handsomely for exclusive coverage. “It’s unfortunate,” OK! editor Sarah Ivens said in a statement that appeared on E! Online, “but at the moment, my biggest fear is that Larry and Howard may have tricked us all.”
Cosby did manage to find one outlet to sound off Tuesday: She appeared with Bill O’Reilly on her old employer, Fox News Channel.
Lower than low.

Every time I read something new about this situation I feel another surge of pity for that poor baby. What a legacy she will find when she is old enough to understand and read the media that has been produced in this last year. Of course with her “loving daddy” making a media festival out of her every milestone, maybe she she’ll be too jaded to care by the time she gets that old.
Why am I not surprised to find out this author used to work for Fox? What sick, low levels some people will sink to in order to get undeserved limelight and money. As for whether those men ever did what she claims? Personally, I doubt it, but who really gives a damn if they did? Leave the dead and the living in peace.

You know, I don’t think much of Stern, but, at least, when he had Dannielynn, the baby was kept away from public and media exposure. She doesn’t seem to be more than a publicity tool for Birkhead.

I’ve felt sorry for Dannielynn from the beginning because it seemed that everyone wanted control of her for the money involved, not because she needed someone that cared about and loved her for herself. All that money may be needed for a good therapist as she grows older.

Of course she appeared with Bill O’Reilly — that man would do anything for publicity.
As for the other stuff — I agree — who cares? Birkhead and Stern are both publicity whores, so they should remember the saying “there’s no such thing as bad publicity” — and give it a rest.

When I first read this story through the AP – I immediately thought of this website and knew you guys would have some sort of article about the situation. Glad to see that my feeling mirror yours. Of course, Ms. Cosby said she’s publishing all this info in the baby’s best interests – a big pile of B.S. in my opinion.
Although I usually have a pessimistic view about things, in this case I have always felt that Stern truly wanted to believe that the baby was his and backed off the custody dispute when the tests results indicated otherwise. It seems to me that both men have wanted the media attention to lessen after the custody was established.
I admit to being interested in the results of Birkhead’s former attorney’s lawsuit to collect on the ungodly amount of expenses she claims to have generated during the custody process.

So who exactly is this Jackie Hatten person? Does she have any proof of the things she told Rita? Are there other sources to back her up? I highly doubt it; just thought I would ask.
I can not imagine how Rita thinks this book will help that poor baby in any way. When I think of that child, I think of “Poor Little Rich Girl” because she is bound to have a lot of issues when she grows up. It is truly too bad her daddy is a media ho (as if anyone truly believe him when he said he wanted to raise her out of the spotlight–how else is he going to afford to sit around doing nothing if not for the media?).

All of my feelings about this latest fiasco, are with the innocent baby.
Who knows if what Rita is saying about Larry and Howard is true. And SO WHAT????? Who cares. How can she think that this information is worth crap, when in the end, years from now, it will come down to that child having to deal with more “media crap”.
I have some mixed feelings. I am happy to see that Howard seems to have pulled back somewhat from the spotlight. I’m not so sure that Larry needed to have a huge brouhaha about Danny’s first birthday. I would think that he would want to protect her and keep her face and life out of the spotlight, and totally away from the media that partially destroyed Anna Nicole.
Once again, unfortunately, it’s all about the almighty dollar, isn’t it. These 2 men need to look past the end of their noses, and realize that SOMEDAY, Danny will be a teenager, and a young adult. And all of this CRAP will be on record. And she may end up just hating them both for all of their shenanigans. Literally playing with her life, her name, her future….. all for their own gratifications.
It makes no difference to me what Larry and Howard were or were not doing between the sheets. What matters is that this child needs to be protected at all costs. Her life poses a great risk for kidnapping, etc. If these men truly love and care for her… then they need to grow up and keep her face and life out of the media. The more I see anything in the press about the baby, the more I KNOW that Larry should have this child taken away from him, and Howard doesn’t need to be in her life either. I truly don’t know who should have custody of her, but surely someone who is not a money-monger. Does anyone in her life fit that profile??? Doubt it.
Bless you little Danny…. as you grow older, may you have peace in your life.

My finely tuned gaydar immediately pegged both of these philanderers but I have a hard time believing any of Cosby’s allegations. If there were a single person involved in this saga that wasn’t shady, it would be helpful to substantiate. Seriously, can you think of a single person that YOU would believe or trust? Why then Rita Cosby?

I beleive, vergie arthur is behind this, waiting to discredit the 2 men, so she can step in and reap her way to the baby and the money, stern and birkhead were enemies. This woman wants to see her face and name in lights, she is nothing.It has been a year, now it starts again, it dont make sence. The baby is happy and it should be down and over.

Well Well…. another bunch of bull crap from Rita.
I wonder if she would like someone to write about her and what ever she does in private ??
I for one doubt very much if her statements are true. And so what if they are , what bearing does that have on Larry being a great Father to Dannielyn ?? ( I might get bashed for this , but here goes )
If infact Larry and Sternhead did engage in something like that , I would guess they were begged by Anna Nicole to satisfy some fantasy of hers or something.
God knows both of them would have done anything Anna wanted them to do as long as it made her happy !
As far as bashing Larry for keeping the world up to date on the Baby… maybe just maybe he is so happy and so proud of her , he wants to share that with all of us who stood behind him .
After all Larry is a photographer and he loves to take pictures and display beauty to our world , and I am sure in his eyes his Daughter is the definition of beauty .

i have no problem with LARRY, having dannirlynn, he loves that baby, he fought for that baby, he put up with opri to get that baby. i love to see dannies pictures, i love to see how they interact together. i cant say i ever loved Larry, but Howard supports him and then so do i. Dannie will have a loving family to grow up in with all of larrys family. But whe will have big issues to overcome with her grandmother helping Rita do this thing to her father. How they live with them selves. IF there was no money, there would be no vergie out from under her rock , nor rita nor oquinn. they are going to have a lot to answer to Dannielynn.

Hard time believing this. They are all three media whores just trying to get that last little bit of fame from the tragedy that was Anna.
I do not know who this Jackie person is, but I can assure you Friend is not a word I would use to describe her. What friend would even consider ever doing something like this?
If she were a friend she would have considered that “friends” child and that child’s feelings if that child were to read this at a later date.
Sadly though we all know Anna was not a good judge when it came to picking friends. We also now many jumped on for the ride because they could not make it on their own. She was surrounded by hangers on and leeches.
They all just want their time to shine and are going to do what they can no matter what or who it hurts to keep that glimmer of “fame” alive. Even if it is at the expense of a child who will one day read all this crap.
Poor little girl I pray she some how makes it through life as normal as she can without ending up totally NUTS
